Hi
OK so I got my new laptop and have an issue with the keyboard. When I searched for a result I cam upon a video that seemed to indicate alot of people had this issue and was related to a Windows update and being my new systems been installing a lot of Windows updates it may have had the issue he mentioned which is same as mine.
So I boot up the computer and my keyboard does not activate no lights and cannot type on it. Now if I restart the laptop then the keyboard is found every time and works. Only happens the first time I start up then the first restart it works until such time as I shut down and then later restart same issue.
So far I have tried 2 of his suggestions the first was to make sure I had no updates that might have a hot fix in it and I did that the next was to uninstall the keyboard and let windows reinstall it which I have done on this most recent restart so won't know until later if it fixed the issue or not.
If that does not work is anyone else familiar with this issue and how to fix it. Keyboard worked fine out of the box so have to assume it was windows update related as he mentioned being it worked fine at first.
This was the video and also the same issue I am having.
