Do you know how can I find a driver package with HDXSSTASUS.inf which is the only inf file that is compatible with my laptop’s hardware?

what kind of Asus laptop are you using (make & model)?

if using an Asus notebook/laptop computer, search the Asus download center instead. Mokichu's Asus drivers do not contain an hdxsstasus.inf file, which that specific file is used only on Intel based Asus desktop pcs & laptop pcs.

or send me a PM (aka. conversation) and I may give you a private link to some recent Asus driver packages that bundle that file

note that Mokichu's drivers are only supported on many Asus desktop motherboards and do not officially provide support for Asus laptops:

I don't offer audio drivers packages for notebooks/laptops in order to focus on my field : DIY PC/Motherboards (hence the fact that my threads are in Motherboards category).

Thank you for your response, on official download page the most recent Audio driver released by Asus for my Asus laptop is almost three years old and it uses hdxsstasus.inf.

I am sending a DM, thanks.

Edit: It seems like I am not allowed to send DMs..

i guess you have not made enough posts to qualify for sending DMs/PMs
I'll send you one shortly if you can tell me what kind of asus laptop you are currently using (use something like either Speccy or the built-in msinfo32.exe tool to gather specs of your laptop)

I recently found a newer audio driver package from the Asus web site that contains the HDXSSTASUS.inf file - 6.0.9754.1

The thing is that the Realtek drivers contain infs files related to Dolby. It's better these infs to contain the specific hardware ID of the device.

BTW, what is the source of this driver? I found out that it is even compatible with my laptop. I checked numerous drivers after 6.0.9590.1 and none of them was fully compatible.

the 6.0.9754.1 Asus (laptop) driver is listed for Zenbook S 13 OLED {UX5304} notebook pc (specifically UX5304VA, not UX5304MA), werty
-click on the "show all" link in the Audio downloads section for UX5304VA (not listed for UX5304MA)
-so the "source" is direct from the Asus support site


and note to Kalemucu: I recently found a slightly newer audio driver package from the Asus web site that contains the HDXSSTASUS.inf file - 6.0.9757.1
(this one was released for an Asus rog gaming handheld pc earlier this December 2024)
