That's probably the best option to take the moment, I'm curious as to which controller it is referring to, because I've read some mixed comments about it in regards to Lenovo laptops. Some users who had the same message in their event logs said it could be related to the fans.

All right update, I tried it. Laptop still will not wake from sleep.....
Yeah, And that's partly why I'm thinking it's something I changed in group policy editor, which resetting default power plan options would not resolve, or don't think would.
Honestly, can't say for certain but it was probably a device configuration setting somewhere, I'm glad it seems to be working okay now though.
