    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

I have lost a bunch of them i had over at 10 forums.. So i guessing i have to login to 10 F in the future and look up my last post i did and save the pictures again :-)
But on the other hand.. It's not as easy to post picture here as in there as you had an easy popup with all your pictures. Here you have to open a new tab, brows to attachments and then copy a link and paste... in there you just drag the picture in place in the popup window
I wish they had the same function in here..... But i guess a few in here might be happy i dont post a lot of Garfield pictures anymore. *LOL* 😅

Yeah i can understand she feels anxious about up/down the stairs. It would be nice if you could connect the two in some way, so you dont have to use the chair between them.
Even i am a problem solver and invent things after my own needs.. its hard to figure out something when i dont have it in front of me. i wish i could figure out something for you both. :-)

Right now my Wife is in the ER & the doc has to make a case & point to the hosp for her to be admitted. Hopefully she can be. The gastro doc knows & understands the situation, however she is powerless to make any suggestions/decisions about admitting someone, she says she's tried in the past. the only thing I could do was take her to the ER, explain her symptoms & as per the gastro doc, pull the ER doc aside & explain the situation, that it's getting worse & as she put it. "you both can't live like this."

I'm headed back to bring her her phone just in case they keep her. Fingers crossed that they do.

The gastro doc realizes the problems involved with doing the prep for the colonoscopy & then getting her to the clinic, so she says if she's admitted, hopefully they will do it while she is there.

Well, they said she can stay. She had to go after laying there for 4 1/2 hrs, & the staff got to see 1st hand what she & I are dealing with.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to lid hinges starting to break up this laptop has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

    Info for 2021-2026:
    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.
