It is on but My wife stays too cold and I stay too hot because I can't turn it down enough for me because then it's too cold for her.

I only live 2 miles from the City maintenance repair and when the power goes off they are usually here within the hour to repair the lines on our street.

Yes it does not take long at all Jerry, your right. I do have a remote control hand help button that can start it up remotely. If I have a switch on the generator turned on ahead of time.
