I think its around 4 or 5 ....but never needed to record that many at the same time.
Mine is made by DirecTV which is owned by AT&T

I can watch anything while its recording too. Got a tiny red light in lower right corner thats on only when its recording something also.

I think they are all pretty much the same Mike, we get a blue spinning wheel when watching after live pause or a recording as well as the red light
