The Shingles are bad enough to deal with, but that will pass. Unfortunately, it's that 1 in 5 that develop into what I've been dealing with for months, that pay a heavy price. ;)


However, I count my blessings. It could have been worse I suppose. And with relentless PT, I am making progress.


...only time will tell, if my system can heal the damage completely.

Indeed, you should.

I would even go as far as saying, pony up the bucks for it now. Of course, that is knowing what I know about it personally.


The recommended age in the U.S. is 50. Then Insurance will pick it up. I paid for mine, out of pocket, $300.


A girl I know, developed shingles at age 27, after the sudden death of her Father, triggered by stress. So, with her, as well as my own situation, I can tell you it is not always only in slightly older people. Fortunately, for her, she does not suffer nerve damage from PHN.


My Neurologist told me there was zero doubt, mine was a direct result of stress.


Just keep that in mind. ;)

We do get temps this high, but they don't last long. Don't think I'm going outside today. Bought my groceries yesterday. :-)
