Regarding the point situation at 12F.

  1. The points system is supposed to recognize help and support - There is no Windows 12 yet, so to build up points for just posting on word games and other non-support chat before the OS is released is unfair.
  2. No points and badges scheme has been defined yet at 12F so how things are currently set is not how they will be when I define one.
  3. I had no idea existing points had been removed when I was playing with the settings.

No, as I have no idea how the points will be calculated; once a system is in place any current like will be taken into account by the software if they meet the criteria - I will probably get something written so that all chillout reactions are 0 rated to match the way we did it at the older sites, but I'm waiting on the next forum software major update before I have any code work done.

Things are going well here today. A day of rest is always welcomed. A surprising pop up rain shower taking place right now, which has brought with it a nice little reprieve from the heat, thankfully.

Going into the coming week the forecast looks nice, with highs expected only into the mid to upper 80's. Perhaps we're finally going to experience our 'week' of autumn weather.
