Yes, but there is a way to still make it work using Explorer Patcher. I think Andre uses it.
Thank you I will give that a shot tomorrow

I now have a Windows 11 desktop it took at least 4 hours to DL an install and yes Bree it is a DOWNGRADE as they made the taskbar only workable on the bottom. I can move it to the place where I want it but it is broken when I do that :( I have not searched for a third-party solution to fix it though if you know a way for me to change it let me know. Everything else works as before I think that Windows 11 is a through back to Windows 8.
Sorry Charlie, I've always liked my Taskbar at the bottom anyway, so haven't looked for anything.

I've been using 11 since July 2021, build 22000.51. I prefer it to 10 now, especially the Settings app which has a far more logical layout in 11.

I just tried it and it got my taskbar back on the right where I want it. I use VNC to control this machine from the house as it is 100 feet from the house in another building and VNC does not show the taskbar because it does not have enough screen space virtually I have to scroll to see it.

Hello Bree, :-)

There was a manual update below released yesterday that can be install for build 22621.525.
Thanks. Yes, I looked at your post about it yesterday. It's got one single fix in it that isn't already in 22621.521, for an issue that only affects non-English builds. I don't need it, so I'll just wait for Patch Tuesday

Yep, not looking good, Mike.

I've been away this morning and haven't seen the latest. But was watching a program from the Nation Hurricane Center last night. One fellow said this has the possibility to be the most destructive Hurricane to hit Florida since 1921.

Water surge between 10 and 15 feet, which equates to almost certain death, without doubt. Also, a slow mover. Which is never good, dumping up to 25" + of rain.

Fortunately, mass evacuations have been underway for the past several days. So, fingers crossed.

Shout out to our friend @essenbe. Steve, although not in the direct path, stay alert and safe. Wishing you and yours the best!
Thanks and will do. We are on the other end of the State. All's good here. I really feel for those going through it. Been there done that.

Thanks and will do. We are on the other end of the State. All's good here. I really feel for those going through it. Been there done that.

Hello Steve,

Thank you for the reply. I am pleased to know you guys are good. Yes, it's dreadful, East of you, from all I've been seeing.

Take care of yourself.
