That is strange, I don't even have it in the menu. Only on desktop but doesn't open involuntarily.

Fixed!!

Used AMD Cleanup Utility in Local Admin Account

As well as DDU

Also got into UEFI Bios mode and disabled Onboard graphics since i wasn't using it at all

Then took pictures of all the Bios settings, and decided to go ahead and update UEFI Bios to the latest version with latest AGESA FIrmware

Adrenalin software no longer popping up when i right click on Local Admin Account or Standard user account

When I tried to install, it first crashed my ICUE and then it got a black screen and rebooted. It then provided me with a report to fill out and send to AMD. Luckily I created a restore point before installing, restored, and now things are back to normal. This problem started last month with 9.1 and I had hoped they fixed the problem.

Hi @alkaufmann,

The black screen issue is a known issue with some Radeon cards and software.
Before installing the 24.10.1 drivers did you try uninstalling the Radeon software and drivers using either DDU or the AMD Cleanup Utility?

I tried to install this and it did not finish and gave a couple of error codes 1603 and 1612. I ran the AMD Adrenalin software and it shows 24.20.19.05 and says everything is up to date. I ran 3DMark as a quick and everything seems okay there.

I tried installing this new driver and it ran into a problem uninstalling the old driver and sent a big report to AMD, The installer then continued and installed the new driver and asked to restart the computer. Everything works fine and the AMD software shows 24Q4 installed.

How did you try uninstalling the old Radeon software? Was it either or both of DDU and/or AMDCleanupUtility?

Also, I opened one of the install inf files and 5700 XT is listed.

PRO drivers are not meant for either of those. For 5700XT use proper Adrenalin 24.10.1 driver under Graphics, for 5700G under Processor>Ryzen.

Was the uninstall done in Windows safe mode?

It is recommended with DDU to boot into safe mode to do the uninstall. the AMD Cleanup Utility automatically goes into safe mode. I always also disconnect the computer from the internet. Otherwise, Windows Update usually pokes in its sticky beak and tries to install some other Radeon drivers (usually beta).

f you use DDU, it can be set to disable installation of MS drivers automatically but installs basic VGA drivers which could be replaced by real ones from AMD.

Installed the new Radeon Pro PRO Edition 24.Q4 software/drivers with no issues so far. I uninstalled the old drivers from Safe Mode using DDU.
I have AMD Freesync Premium disabled as I find it is a bit buggy sometimes.

GPU is a RX 7900 XTX, rest of system details as per signature below.

This time I used the AMD cleanup utility before installing Adrenalin 24.12.1. Everthing installed without complaint and the 3DMark test I ran did not complain about the driver either.
