Latest AMD Radeon Graphics Driver for Windows 11

I update on each release whether WHQL or "beta". Have been doing it that way since I got into PCs. No real issues there.

But as noted everyone is different.

Fixed Issues and Improvements
Failure to detect integrated camera may be observed after driver installation using factory reset option on some Ryzen™ AI Max and Max+ series products.
Installation progress may persistently display 0% while installing AMD Chat within the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition user interface after upgrading to AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics products.
System crash may be observed due to a memory leak when using SteamVR on some AMD Radeon™ Graphics Products, such as the Radeon™ RX 9000 series. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to turn off Motion Smoothing in SteamVR settings.
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition.
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while loading Civilization VII with Anti-Lag enabled.
Known Issues
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing The Last of Us Part 2.
Stutter may be observed while playing games with some VR headsets at 80Hz or 90Hz refresh rate on some AMD Radeon™ Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 7000 series. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to change the refresh rate as a temporary workaround.
Intermittent system or application crash may be observed while playing Cyberpunk 2077
Failure to launch may be observed for Battlefield 1 on Radeon™ RX 9000 series graphics products with Ryzen™ 9 9950X integrated graphics. Users experiencing these issues are recommended to disable integrated graphics (iGPU) in system BIOS as a temporary workaround.
Intermittent failure to launch may be observed when AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition user interface is launched from desktop context menu or system tray.
Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Monster Hunter Wilds with Radeon™ Anti-Lag and Instant Replay enabled.
Artifacts or corruption may appear while playing BattleField on Radeon™ RX 7000 series graphics products.
Quality and Performance selections may be reversed in the user interface for AMD Radeon™ Boost.
Stutter may be observed while playing Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Season 03 Verdansk map on some AMD Graphics Products

I installed these new Radeon PRO 25.Q2 drivers and they seem to work fine with the system listed below. The download setup file is quite large at 1.4gb.

Also note that AMD have two pages of information for installing Radeon drivers and a list of potential errors and solutions during install.

If I may ask, if or what difference do you find between usage of Adrenalin and Pro drivers ? Why do you prefer Pro version, because of specific usage and which ?

I tend to switch between the two. The PRO drivers aren't updated monthly like the Adrenalin, typically every 3-6 months.

The main difference is:

• Adrenalin Drivers: These are designed for gamers and focus on performance enhancements, game optimizations, and features like Radeon Anti-Lag, Radeon Boost, and Image Sharpening. They receive frequent updates to improve gaming experiences and add new features.
• Pro Drivers: These are tailored for professional content creators and workstation users. They prioritize stability and reliability over gaming performance and undergo rigorous testing and certification for software like CAD, 3D modeling, and video editing tools. Updates are less frequent but ensure compatibility with professional applications.\

Currently the driver versions in the 25.Q2 PRO software are later than the Adrenalin 25.5.2. If switching between the two it is good practice to use DDU and/or the AMD Cleanup Utility first.

Those new AMD Radeon Adrenalin 25.6.1 software/drivers have quite a long list of known issues. Think I'll stick with the Radeon PRO 25.Q2's I installed the other day.

Something funny just happened. I had 25.5.1 Adrenalin installed. Decided to let driver update automatically thru Adrenalin APP. Before update started it asked something like " Let application decide settings by your previous case usage" and it installed 25.Q2 pro driver. I haven't played any games for couple of month, just use graphic programs. That may be the reason why.
I'll let it stay for a while but benchmark programs stayed at about same level.
Global Experience is set to Quality and APP didn't pick up any installed games.

Something funny happened when I updated to 25.8.1 over Pro 25. Q2. Every time when trying to write any. .MP4 file it would stop for a minute and then open Adrenalin APP instead. used DDU to uninstall Pro and installed 25.8.1 without problems.

I'm rather finicky and fussy installing AMD drivers/software and always out of an abundance of precaution when changing between the standard Radeon and PRO software packages to run either/both of DDU and the AMD Cleanup Utility first.

Some golf games 2k23 and 2k25 PGA Tour and MS Flight Simulator.

Never noticed any real difference. Still possible to do individual setups for games etc.

Thanks. I'm more FPS and RPG games - Cyberpunk. Skyrim, Starfield. Games like those tend to push a GPU when visuals are maxed. Here's its not necessarily about the GPU, but the driver. Was wondering if you were playing those type games and how was performance.

But yeah, I know the Pro drivers are for content creators, and the Adrenalin drivers optimized for games. Was curious.
