Ditto, except I had to change the default DNS settings in windows in order to get FF to stop freezing up from time to time. Windows logs are full of DNS errors "error loading the SSL libraries"

No issues with F11 and nothing in the logs related to DNS.
I do not allow Firefox to handle DNS settings as my router (RT-BE86U) can do a better job so everything is off in Firefox.

I updated from 145 to 145.0.1 Unfortunately it still crashes when I press F11 or click on the [] icon to go full screen. Useless if I want to watch Netflix or whatever. Thankfully good old Microsoft Edge doesn't suffer from this bug. If any Developer reads this, please fix this bug!

im not having any type of issue like this both on 145 or 145.1. F11 full screen working perfectly fine, tried opening closing multiple times no crash after. I like firefox because you can add full screen button shortcut on toolbar. Just one click very easy, i can't do that on edge or brave

I set that to Off, didn't make any difference. Firefox still crashes when I try to switch to full screen.

Until the official Firefox is fixed, I use the Firefox clone R3DFOX:

As you probably know, I run a variety of machines from 15 year old unsupported devices up to systems only a year or so old. I run Firefox on them all, and F11 works perfectly on them all. No problems in 145.0.0 or now in 145.0.1. Whatever your problem is, it's not a widespread one.

I also run a variety of Computers some with the latest Windows 10 and some with the latest Windows 11 with no problem what so ever pressing F11 in Firefox 145.00 or 145.01

How can I find out what is the issue and fix it? Would resetting Firefox work? What about my data if I reset? Are they affected? How do I reset Firefox? Thanks.

PS: I even uninstalled Firefox, deleted all relevant folders, just in case, and reinstalled 145.0.1, same thing. Once I try to go full screen it crashes. I will try to remove it again, install 144 and block updates to see if that helps and post back.

Like I said, it was a bug in Firefox 145 and 145.0.1 I uninstalled it completely, deleted all Mozilla folders from my PC, just in case, reinstalled Firefox 144.0.2, set updates to notify me and not install automatically. Bingo! I can toggle from full screen to window as many times as I like, version 144.0.2 NEVER crashes. So it wasn't a graphics drivers or whatever else issue. I insist It was a Firefox 145 or later bug which must be fixed. Obviously they changed something that causes the issue. Just because I have the issue but you are not affected doesn't mean there is no issue. Yes, it is, but obviously it doesn't affect everyone. Not all bugs affect everyone. Trying to prove me wrong isn't helping and it is rather annoying, please refrain. Please developers if you read this, UNDO any changes you did in 145 or later! Thanks.

We are here to help people out and yes some people have issues and others don't as every computer/notebook are different with hardware, windows versions and a variety of installed programs which can effect a specific program. Our suggestions were just options for you to try to help you fix your issue.
