I see these 'helpful' little 'nudges' (I was going to say 'nags' but I'll wait a bit longer to see if I need to say that) are slowly starting to creep into Firefox.

I do not want to sign in and sync my data. I do not want an account. Now or ever. Thank you.

Once these little 'nudges' reach a certain level of annoyance a lot of users (myself including) will start looking for alternative browsers. And this is the reason why I will not touch Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge these days. I use Helium Browser for the rare website that doesn't work properly in Firefox, usually because the website developer is too lazy to test their site with anything else besides Chromium browsers.

In case it helps, if the following about:config preference is set to false, it appears to get rid of those Sign-in & Sync functions in the Appmenu as well as the Bookmarks menu.

identity.fxaccounts.enabled <> toggle to false ; & re-start Firefox
