Yes indeed, that's the number one problem I see on Reddit:
That's interesting as the problem is usually with the Qualcomm/Atheros chipset based cards as the same problem appears even with just the Qualcomm/Atheros drivers without installing the Killer software. Thought the Intel ones didn't have the problem. The Killer AX1650 is a Intel AX200 witt things "added", I guess the "added" part is what's causing all the problems but interesting Intel would still buy the company with the problems.

Actually, the performance of those things when you just use the drivers is perfectly fine.

It's when you add in the Killer Performance Suite and / or the Killer App and let it do its thing that you get issues.

I only run the installers to install the drivers (via advanced install), and deselect the 'Killer Software" section from the advanced install.

My MSI board in System #1 has Killer AX1650 (200NGW), Killer E2600 (Gigabit Ethernet) and Killer E3100 (2.5 Gbit Ethernet).

That's what I thought. It was the Killer that was Qualcomm/Atheros based that had issues of the sync no surf unless you disconnect and reconnect again with just the Qualcomm/Atheros drivers so it wasn't even the Killer Suite that was the problem. I guess the problem with the Intel based is more with the bandwidth management part which is basically what Killer Software is.

Yeah. While I'm probably planning a new rig next year, I can say that the Killer stuff has been great once I learned to get rid of the software. Killer did have a cleaner app to clean all the stuff off for a clean reinstall of the drivers, but it was a convoluted process in the beginning with these Intel-based devices, until the driver packages started coming from Intel. Then, it's always had the Advanced option to install just the drivers and leave the software completely uninstalled, and it's been great, no more need to install everything, then manually disable all the settings in the Control Suite, and then disable the apps, etc. - now, it's just the drivers, exactly as I want.

Just be sure to disable the check mark for the Killer App from the Microsoft Store, which is a *separate* action from the installation, and only shows at the very last step, and is, by default, checked (naturally).

I think once the driver's on the killer website was gone not long after Intel bought the company, Intel only releases the drivers but they no longer release a Killer software uninstaller.

For those who have Killer Ethernet and Wireless drivers on their systems, do you also use Killer Intelligence Center? Ever since the last two Performance Suite updates, Killer Intelligence Center no longer works for me. I've searched and tried every possible solution, but nothing works. All I get is this. Does anyone have a solution besides whatever is out there?

For those who have Killer Ethernet and Wireless drivers on their systems, do you also use Killer Intelligence Center? Ever since the last two Performance Suite updates, Killer Intelligence Center no longer works for me. I've searched and tried every possible solution, but nothing works. All I get is this. Does anyone have a solution besides whatever is out there?

Ever since I updated my Killer drivers without the software component and Killer services disabled in Services, one of my most troublesome 5GHz issues are gone now. So I suggest uninstalling Killer software and turn the respective Killer services to “disabled”.

The last time I tried to use Killer software's, no matter what optimizations I enabled or disabled (even having everything disabled in the software so nothing was optimized) my upload speeds were about 10% of actual network bandwidth available, as well as about 10% of actual Internet speeds (FttH full Gigabit up and downstream). After using the killer removal tool from Killer's website, I grabbed the driver only package and used it - and my speeds were back to normal. My motherboard has native Gigabit (Killer E2600) and 2.5 Gb (Killer E3100) Ethernet ports, and I have a 10 Gb PCIe adapter as well, and it would almost invariably screw with all three - even though the 10 Gb card is using a Marvell chipset, not a killer chipset.

Now, with the installer files coming from Intel, I just do a custom install and deselect the Killer software. Never will I ever install that PoS garbage software again.

Never again will that nonsense be installed on my machines.

Thanks johnlgalt and HuntyFtw for the advice. All is working fine for me, so I don't really need the KIC anyhow. Was just curious.
Thanks again.

the only thing Killer Networking are good at is killing your connection! That's the most complain we get from our customers and on reddit (why is my internet so much slower on my new laptop?)

So true. Sad part is that when I first built this rig, and installed those drivers from Killer's website, they actually worked pretty well.

Then the shenanigans started. And I quickly called out the software on its BS and uninstalled it.

Atleast yours worked. With the Killer 1535 which is a combo wifi/bt on the notebook that is Qualcomm based, the connection would sync no surf regardless if it was just the Qualcomm/Atheros drivers only or if Killer Performance Suite was used in addition to the Qualcomm/Atheros drivers and the only fix was everytime it happens which is multiple times a day, disconnect and reconnect to the router. I'm glad I switched to the Intel AX-210NGW WiFi-6E/Bluetooth v5.3 which no longer has the problems.
