Mines works for most edge:// pages and all normal pages, just broken for edge://newtab where I have the issue with Canary v117.0.2023.0.

Edge updates have always worked well for me.

I always do all Microsoft updates because I believe that it's important to keep current with security.

You are using Stable which did have a no new updates available issue a few weeks ago even though there were newer versions out that a majority of people had with Stable including myself. The issue being discussed is with Canary which had the new versions out but it also showed no new updates available but now a new problem is it is not working with certain things. I have both Stable and Canary. Microsoft is the last name you want to be involved with security as it will never be current until after it's already been exploited as by the time Microsoft releases information about it, it's already well known as even the microcode is heavily delayed. Microsoft Health Tools known as KB4023057 which is supposedly updated on April 3, 2023, only few people have the new updated version as everyone else is still stuck on the December 2022 version. This is needed for smooth reliability for Windows Update to work and if they can't even get their OSes update working correctly, security would not be current either.

OK, thanks! I didn't see that folks are talking about beta software. For what I do, I require stability, so I don't run beta software.

That's why it pays to read the discussion first as the thread can talk about Stable, Beta, Canary. And even when talking about Stable, look at your message #1321 which is obvious how people are updating their Stable builds as people were on Stable v114.0.1823.51 when Stable v114.0.1823.55 was released, we know you got v114.0.1823.55 as confirmed in message #1287 as well as four other persons in message(s) #1289, 1292, 1299, 1312 but as can be seen in message(s) #1278, 1284, 1285, 1286, 1288, 1290, 1293, 1295, 1300, 1301, 1311 who were all stuck with v114.0.1823.51 and never saw an update until v114.0.1823.58 which meant it skipped v114.0.1823.55 enitrely. So either v114.0.1823.55 was only available briefly or Microsoft is distributing it only to a selected group of people which is possible because even with DISH Networks, the satellite DVR box, most people got the software version in the H34x where x is a number 0-9 who were considered the stable version and some people got the H35x where x is a number 0-9 that was a test version with a new video player. None of the customers got to select which they wanted as some of the people who got the test version are people with no technical skills, etc. Atleast with Microsoft you have a choice instead of random selection.
