Hi!
I understand that, but I think this definition of the Bing IA Button should be optional to appear on the Edge Home Page.
At the moment I prefer Edge to Google but I was not satisfied with this imposition of the Bing Chat Button.

Matter of preference. I dislike Bing in any form and have a distrust of AI "features" that don't allow an opt-out.

Aha! After looking at Options, I find that displaying the Bing AI Button is now optional. I like that and have now chosen the option not to display the big blue button!

@dbartenstein Before Edge (Chromium) I too had a distaste for the old Edge and Bing. A couple of years ago I tried the new Edge, liked it, and made the switch on all my devices from Google Chrome to Edge + Bing. I never did like the way Google Search tore through my privacy, so Bing was a welcome change, and I found that I didn't miss Google search at all. But it's as you say, "Matter of preference".

Ah, I have sidebar turned off in GP so I don't get further into it. No worries though. The Bing button is gone and that's all that matters for now.

If you have it off in group policy you can't mess with anything under it.

Ah! Of course! IT has to maintain total control over the minions! :LOL:

I first used group policy to turn off that irritating lock screen. That's now the first thing I do when I set up a new computer.
