I recognize the name "Cyberlink" but haven't had any of their software since 2010 at the latest; the others, no idea. I can say Handbrake has been fine all along with 591 drivers and NVEnc, which has been my default transcoding method since I got my RTX 3060 Ti in 2022.

It works great for me too and no problems with adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, I have to say that I don't use any GPU software except the Nvidia App.

Thank you for the advice HeavyHemi, I just checked and all working as supposed to no overheating, could it be I just use the Nvidia App and let it set things up? Just for further safety I'll run Passmark performance test.

Attempted the recommended update compliments of NVIDIA on the X299 platform. I opted for the clean install but the software conducted a roll back with the RTX 3070. Ironically the drivers on the 3070 are an older version than what I was originally using on the 1070. I'm attempting another installation.

Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
I'm on the X299 platform with the RTX 3070 now. Not certain how clear the screen shot will be as this build isn't in the case yet and I only have it connected to an auxiliary monitor. Thought I would check a few other things while I was at it as it needed some Windows updates as well. So far everything looks good. The recommended version from NVIDIA for this platform was 591.86

Frankly, I don't mind the updates. At least they are being pro-active and fixing things. It's like a car recall. You WANT them to do it and fix the problem.

I was a Radeon gal for a long time and then went Nvidia. I will never look back. The performance of the Nvidia card I have (3070 Ti) far surpasses any Radeon card I have ever owned (even in Crossfire mode), and looking at a few benchmarks, it looks like I made a good choice even compared to some of the new ones.
