  • DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation Available Now
    • Update to DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Frame Generation on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Select “Dynamic” mode to intelligently adjust the number of generated frames during gameplay to a target frame rate to balance frame rate, image quality and responsiveness.
    • New DLSS 4.5 Multi Frame Generation 5X and 6X modes on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs increase 4K frame rates in path-traced titles. Paired with NVIDIA Reflex, they generate additional frames with minimal impact to responsiveness.
    • DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation model update on GeForce RTX 50 Series and GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs enhances in-game user interfaces by incorporating additional engine data available for some games, improving visual quality and clarity of static user interface elements.
    • For optimal image quality and peak performance when using ShadowPlay, the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver is required.

Getting tired of the nVidia marketing regarding the so-called performance increases that really come with a caveat. Plus, having already paid over a grand for my 3080 Ti, I don't feel like turning around and dropping 2 grand not even 3 years later for the 5090 or over another grand for a 5080.

At least this time it seems like DLSS 4 isn't locked behind 50 series. Even though it sounds like "not all features" will make lower tier cards. I have no intention, and games are barely using all my 4090 can do so not planning on upgrade for years.

I have a EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB XC3,
that I am happy with...
but if I really could afford a 50 series card probably be a

- ASUS GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB
not sure what model all depends on the power draw of the gfx card.
While I do have a 1250 Watt power supply its not ATX v3 so no special power connector for the new Nvidia GPUs...
and I don't like the chances of it melting the GPU if I were to afford one.. lol

Still got my Sapphire RX 7900 XTX. A bit doubtful upgrading to say a RTX 5080 would be worth it. With all this hype about AI being the greatest technological advance since the Abacus. Well, I'm not convinced and don't need to update my PC for that.

I was surprised to see the Dell Support site already put out driver 566.41 back on 19 January. Usually they are way behind Nvidia on their driver releases.

I have been staying on the 560.94 drivers for my RTX 3060. They seem best for me.
Using anything newer introduces flickering and or stuttering in the game/s I play.
I'm mostly just playing World of Warcraft anymore.

I use v566.36 with my EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB CX3 gfx card.
and have not seen any active flickering..
but I play only World of Warcraft these days pretty much..

Which game or out of game are you seeing flickering?
