Important: Microsoft support ends 13 October 2026

After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide technical support, bug fixes or security updates for Office 2021 and Office LTSC 2021. The applications may continue to run on the licensed device, but “perpetual” does not mean permanently supported or secure on future systems.

For a newer fixed release, consider Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024. Choose Microsoft 365 when ongoing feature updates and cloud services are the priority.

There is no support for this version anymore, this ended nearly 2 weeks ago.

Your original statement was about being up to date. My point is that having the latest Insider build doesn't mean Office 2021 is still officially supported or receiving guaranteed security updates. Those are two different things.
