Lenovo Desktop: Sleep Issue


If it is still under warranty you can let Lenovo sort it out. However, You need to reset it to its factory state before shipping it. It will come back to you the same way. Backup any important files.
Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. Under Reset this PC, select Get Started > Removing everything.

I started a case with them. A technician did update my graphics driver to a different version. It hasn't done the issue since then. I let them know that if it happens again, that I would let them know so that they can do further troubleshooting.

@ctaves: The graphics driver helped some, but it wasn't a complete resolution. So, I gave up and sent it in to Lenovo for warranty repair. The technicians said they had to restore it back to the original OS (Windows 10 Home). It came back to me with Windows 10, and I don't think it was fixed. But I updated it to Windows 11 Home and Windows found some available driver updates, and from there it seems to be okay now. It may have just been a bad update or a glitch or indeed, most likely the old driver version was problematic so when AMD rolled out a new driver update, it fixed the issue.

But I have since then gave the Lenovo to my sister for my niece and nephew as they needed a Desktop PC. My sister has a MacBook Air also that she uses. I took back my HP Desktop that came with Windows 10 Home. The HP wasn't supposed to run Windows 11 due to an older TPM, but I overrode the requirements and upgraded it to Windows 11. Since upgrading the HP to Windows 11, I have had no major issues with it despite Microsoft saying I might run into issues due to the requirements.

But I will never buy a Lenovo again, because I think it's uncalled for that with it being under warranty and already malfunctioning and needing repair is not good. I have always had better fortune with HP or Dell (Mainly HP).
