Live kernel event 193 , is it a hardware/gpu issue?

I´ve had some parts for a long time ( ryzen 7 5700x , 32gb ram 3200mhz , asus tuf b550m gaming plus and a xpg pylon 650w psu)
I´ve had a rtx 3060 which i had no problems before that i sold
I recently bought a rtx 4070 that i played for 3 months without any problem but yesterday my pc completely hanged while using windows media player , i was watching a recorded video
I remember r6 siege was running at the background (i´ve alt tabbed)
My computer never hanged while playing games or intensive gpu tasks ( ran heaven benchmark for about 10 hours to test the gpu when i got it )
I started using wmp and first the image hanged ( while the sound kept playing in the background) then the system completely froze after
I can´t find any display driver error crash or something relevant in the event viewer
This was not registered as bsod as well , windows only says that a improper shutdown happened
There is no kernel reports or dumps to check either
I have this in the reliability history
One detail that i have to add that i recently installed g hub , don´t know if the logitech software can cause this maybe
I also tested the ram with memtest86 and no erros were shown

Is there a issue with wmp or is my hardware broken? Is there a way to read this log?
i´ve searched for these codes and could not debug or discover what they mean
Can these parameters be read to identify the cause ?

How many times did you have to power off the computer?

How many times were there unexpected or spontaneous shutdowns and restarts?



Please use English as the default language then run the V2 log collector and post a share link into this thread using drop box or google drive.

unfortunately i´ve formatted the pc already , i only have these parameters

it frozed while watching a windows media player video and gaming (r6 siege)

it never crashed / frozed before , had to restart via the button on the case

is there any other way to diagnose ?

Live Kernel bugcheck 193 is caused by misbehaving GPU drivers.

For computers with multiple GPU log files may be useful in identifying the misbehaving driver.

do you think it could be the hardware ? i´ve tried heaven benchmark , 4k games and the gpu does not crash
played a lot of r6 siege as well
unfortunately i´ve already formatted my pc , do these parameters show something?

Live Kernel events are always reported:

If there was no BSOD then you can monitor the computer to see if it was only a one time or recurrent event.

i remember it was one time only but i´m sure it was not a BSOD

only reported that he was not shutdown properly but no BSOD

i don´t have the logs anymore

it is hard to rma to gigabyte since they want proof of the problem and i don´t know if i can reproduce it again

could it be a hardware problem even if it works in games , benchmarks etc ?

Almost always hardware problems will present with recurrent problems.

(The exception is usually unexpected power outages)

I´m wondering if it is possible for the gpu to work in games but it has the codec damaged maybe ? since it happened while playing a video in windows media player

the video in question was 60hz and my monitor is 144hz

If there are recurrent problems then log files can be scanned and read.
