OS
Windows 11
Hi,
I have a clean installation of Windows 11 with an account linked to my Microsoft account. I'd like that Windows starts to desktop without being prompted for a password or PIN. How can I do that?

When I go to settings > Accounts, I cannot remove the PIN.

When I open netplwiz, I don't see the option "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

I found a solution.

Under the account setting ->advanced ->secure sign in > check - user requires control alt delete to checkin.

Run - netplwiz

You will now have the option to login without password

Me too, I install this immediately after setting up a fresh install. Never had to login since, goes straight to my desktop.

Would it be easier to disconnect Windows from MS account? I don't use password and OS is loaded automatically very quickly. Of course, I use my MS account for apps, it can be remembered in settings, so when I open MS Store I am automatically authorised and see my profile picture :giggle: with full name (in Windows I use a shortened name). At least this works in Windows 11 Pro, maybe in Home it will be a bit more complex.
