Looking for a Batch File to Remove Unneeded Language Folders

I just did a search on "en-GB" in my Windows folder and found 17,047 items. of which 707 are folders, the rest files. Since I'm only using en-US, I don't think I need the en-GB items or any of the other non en-US type items in the initial load. Has anyone written a batch file to remove all these unnecessary folders and files, or am I missing something here? I just checked in settings and only en-US shows in the display language settings. Thanks for any info.

Select the files you want and drag them to a Temporary file on your desktop or where ever, and if there are no problems, delete the folder.

Those MUI DLL's are the resource files for different Windows programs. Resource files split out the localized onscreen messages, warnings and errors into individual libraries. While you can write a script to remove MUI's you don't use, it's not a permanent fix. Future Windows Updates may decide to patch Windows programs at random, and they will copy newer versions of the same files back. Unless you disable updates or keep deleting those files, it will be a recurring issue.

On the whole, you're not saving that much disk space relative to Windows. Entire Language Packs can take up more disk space, but there is a built-in Windows task which removes unused LP files about a month after Windows is installed.
