Looking for a media player with a specific feature

Hello all.

Can anyone recommend a 3rd party media player that has a feature (similar to the Movies & TV app) where you can navigate between video files in the same folder from inside the player window. Something like the two arrows feature on M&TV shown here (circled):

MPC-HC uses previous/next buttons (or PgUp/PgDn keys) for this purpose. I prefer using MPC-HC with madVR as the renderer and the default DXVA2 copy-back. To manage codec installations and to ease the whole setup procedure of this I use K-Lite Codec Pack Full that has everything already included with an installer that puts you completely in control of what you want to be installed or don't want to be installed. K-Lite Codec Pack is written and still actively being maintained by clsid2 himself so it is safe to use. Been using it on all my laptops for the past 14 years, it's among those things that always get installed first each time when I buy a new laptop.

Doesn't VLC have something like that - just open folder / open device /open file /open multiple streams etc etc,

I don't really understand exactly what the problem is.VLC also can handle almost any known video / audio codec known to man or beast.

Note I assume you have other methods of tagging audio files etc -- VLC works perfectly though as a player or even a streaming server.
