My new computer came with window 11 but now my 10W photos have disappeared they aren’t in the pictures folder how DO I GET THEM BACK?

Please explain what this means so that people will be able to help you.
Also you say "My new computer" so are you saying that you had saved your photos into your "new computer" 'Pictures' folder but now they are no longer there?

If you had opted to have Windows do Windows Backup, your photos have been moved from your local Pictures Folder to the Pictures Folder found under the OneDrive Folder. This can be very confusing, and Windows 11 doesn't explain what is happening very well. Your photos have not been lost.

That's what I wondered. So if the W10 photos were lost on the brand new computer, did you opt to have Windows "transfer" all your files from the old one at set up time Herm?
