Lost Ribbon in Word

All my chosen "helps" gone. It took me ages to set up all my "helps" - All CAPS, Thesaurus, Highlight, text and B I U plus MANY more, without them Word is useless for my daily work and I will not continue to use Word if this problem cannot be solved simply AND permanently. It is hard to put into words the problems that are introduced with updates.

I have discovered if I view on Print Layout all my ribbon apps are there. So I will just work on that view until complete and revert to Ar when finidhed. I spent hours with misguided complicated solutions, so Print Layout it is. Dont know if that will help other sufferers?
