In Office LTSC 2021 Pro Plus I update the suite and lost the "Try New Outlook" slider in the top right of the Outlook screen. Any ideas about how to get it back ?

I took a look in the store and that appears to be an online version. I have a full local install.

Are you sure you didn’t actually toggle it on and you’re using the New Outlook?
@Edwin is slightly familiar with the toggles, Edwin?

I'm certain I'm using the classic version. I did see it at first, then did the updates, then it disappeared. I googled a solution involving reg edit and I do not have the preference key they (MS) mentions. Lot sof solutions for Office 365 but this is an LTSC stand alone version.

I have Office 2021 Pro Plus, hated the "new outlook", and wanted to get rid of it and the toggle. I found this so reversed the registry change to 1 so I wouldn't see the toggle any more. However, keep in mind this regedit was 6 months ago and Office 2021 has updated since then. Whether it will still work to bring the toggle back I can not say.
I can say that when I look in the registry now I no longer see the registry entry I created , but the toggle is still gone which is the way I like it..

Ooooh. Now that's above my pay grade. Honestly there are so many different flavors of Office 2021 its hard to figure out what to do. My initial start up screen for Outlook used to say LTSC and I just noticed it was changed to Office 2021.

It's very easy...,
Right click on Options Key, hover on New, select Key, name it General...,
now go to the right hand pane of the General Key, in an empty spot right click>New>DWORD (32bit) value, name it HideNewOutlookToggle, set it's value to 1 to hide, 0 to show.

Thanks. Let me ask a stupid question. The "new" outlook is contained within the latest updated version of Outlook and has nothing to do with "New" Outlook that uses MS Cloud ? Have I got that right ?

There is the old Windows Mail App / Outlook App / New Outlook App / Outlook in the Office Suite of programs 2010-2021 / Outlook in Office 365 Suite

It’s just… so… stupid.
