Same, and that's mostly how I get the Start menu to pop up. I use my mouse as little as possible, so I hit the Windows key a lot. Must be an over-tweak or some third-party situation. Either way, doesn't sound like a "serious flaw" in Everything.

Winkey? Yeah, I use that key a lot. I'm not giving up 25 years of habit for one program that I can live without. I'll deal with the slower searches, instead. I just get in the habit of doing other things while the default search does it's thing.

Much as I'd like to use Everything, I can't. Not the way it is. That's why I'm looking forward to what the OP does with his program here. Hopefully he'll read some of the feedback here.

And on a different note, with laptops, most everything is done through keyboard shortcuts or the trackpad. I rarely use a mouse with a laptop.

Unless you use a mouse with your laptop all the time (like you're sitting at a desk) then that would partially defeat the purpose of having a laptop, imo...


PS: EDIT: Not sure why somebody feels sorry for me. Not having a quick search is an inconvenience. I'd be something nice to have but I can live without it.
