I updated to the latest .7762 version. Due to some issues being reported on the Macrium Forums I was digging around my install. If I go to Help | About my Licensed To: shows as "N/A." My name is not displaying anymore. Unsure of when this changed. Support shows as "Expired" which I just assume my paid period for support has expired.

Same here (N/A in app and name correct in recovery) but I'm still on 7675, so the answer to "when this changed" is at least one version ago.

After the Macrium 30-day trial is over, can I boot from USB memory and take a cold image? Or can I boot and restore the backup image via usb? (Google Translate

It is shown correctly in 8.1.7675. Yes, Support 'Expired' just means your 12 months of support have ended.

More importantly, it is still recorded correctly in the registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macrium\Reflect

Seems that Help > About is not looking in the right place in the registry.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.

When the 30 day trial expires the Reflect on your PC becomes a RESTORE ONLY version. I would expect the rescue USB to do the same.

I have a laptop with Version 7675 and it displays my name beside licensed to and my support is expired. On my desktop, it displays N/A beside licensed to and the support is also expired.

Your name is still recorded in the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macrium\Reflect

Seems that in 8.1.7762 Help > About is not looking in the right place in the registry and doesn't find it.

I didn't confirm it in registry, but I guess it's no big issue to me. I was just commenting what I am seeing as feedback only. I suppose a future update will resolve the issue.

I'm using the free edition 8.0.7690. It's now telling me version 8.0.7783 is available for download, but when I try that, I get HTTP Error 403, which means authentication was refused by the server.

Didn't I read that updates would only be provided to the 'registered/paid' versions.
I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time.

Yes, I get that too. This is a server issue and has occasionally been seen with previous patch updates. Macrium usually sort it out quickly, but it's the weekend so we may have to wait for Monday.

If you are really impatient, then the Reflect Free download Agent does now download the full installer for Reflect Free v8.0.7783, I've used that on one machine.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    I've now clean installed 25H2 and used Garlin's scripts to update Secure Boot to CA 2023 and revoke the PCA 2011 certificates. It's new role is to test secure boot issues.
