Yeah, I knew about this problem very soon after v8.0.6560 was released.
But even so, all Reflect versions have been updated to v8.0.6562. My Server edition that was given to me my Macrium for being a tester updated. But I don't think any other version really needs to be updated, but they're all available.

It is only for those with the Technicians Licence. The update is not being offered to most users although it seems you can download it manually for a clean install if I interpret info in post #7 correctly.

No need for a clean install.
You just upgrade it over the top like any other update.
But as already mentioned, the change log only appears to affect the Technicians License and Portable Rescue Media, although all editions have been updated.

Perhaps I never made it clear but that is what I meant I.e. for those who have it installed, they do not need to do anything.

Windows 11 Home version 22H2 (OS Build 22610.1)
I was using Macrium Reflect Free version 7 for the last 5 years. I upgraded to the free version 8 a few days back. There was no problem in backing up partitions and browsing files in the created partitions but while trying to restore a partition I didn't proceed beyond after the stage shown in the image below with "Automatic boot" checked..

Please enlighten me whether I should now click "Run from Windows PE" or try to enable the Windows boot menu option?

The case fan and CPU cooler were after purchase upgrades...the i7 cpu runs hot and the OE solution can best be described as marginal when CPU intensive apps are used.
    ALSO added a VRM heatsink.

You cannot restore the C: partition while Windows is running from it. You need to boot to the Macrium WinPE recovery environment to do so.

If you click 'Run from Windows PE' it will reboot to the Macrium Rescue environment and start the restore. If you have not yet added Macrium to your boot menu, then it will first build the recovery environment before it reboots.

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October.
