I noticed that starting June 4th I have been getting these error logs from Malwarebytes. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled but they would not go away. I also tested this on a second computer and noticed that these errors also started happening on that computer on the 4th as well.

Since I have uninstalled and reinstalled and checked on a second computer could someone go into Event viewer. Then Application and Service Logs/Microsoft/Windows then codeintegrity and see if you have these errors as well.
Thanks.

I read that Malwarebytes offer a seperate app to uninstall the software.
Maybe try that if you haven't and do a fresh install.

I uninstalled using control panel. I think there were 2 options and I selected uninstall everything. I will look for their uninstall app.

Thanks for the quick responses. I only stumbled on these logs because I was researching another issue.

I am not experiencing any issues with my computers and I am starting to think I should pay less attention to event viewer logs. Life is too short.

I opened a ticket on the malwarebytes support forum. I need to run about 6 tests but the admin said that unless it causes an issue I can ignore it. 😜

Using the Windows uninstall or the programs uninstall leaves registry keys, it doesn't do a good job of removing those. When you reinstall the program, any leftover keys resume running the program & if the problem is there, then you'll have the same problem.

If you want to completely uninstall it use Revo Uninstaller. Set it to advanced & it will give you the option to uninstall all the reg keys related to the program as well as an files/shortcuts..

Make sure to only check the bolded reg entries when uninstalling them using advanced setting.

Revo will make a restore point before the uninstall.
