I did everything to free up more menory on the c drive, but the available memory stays the same!

If you have deleted files, they go to the recycle bin.

You have to empty the recycle bin to reclaim space.

Check out Task Manager
  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc (or right-click the taskbar > Task Manager).
  • Go to the Performance tab > Memory.
  • Here you should see:
    • In use (what’s actively being used by apps/system).
    • Committed (what Windows has reserved, including pagefile).
    • Cached (recently used data held in RAM for faster reuse).
      Available (free + cached).
  • Switch to the Processes tab > sort by the Memory column to see which apps use the most RAM.

And if you’re talking about disk space, not “Memory” or RAM, then:
  • Run Disk Cleanup if you haven’t already.
  • Empty your recycle bin.

Another thing to try is CHKDSK C: /F in an admin command prompt.

The computer will have to reboot in order to run the CHKDSK command. If the file system is damaged, there can be lost clusters that

Note that you should CERTAINLY have a backup of the boot drive before doing this, things can go wrong.

It seems very clear that you need to shrink the D: partition and give the C: Windows partition much more room. The tool I've used in the past for similar operations is MiniTool Partition Wizard Free. It will shrink the D: partition and move it to the right for you, then you can expand the C: partition. This should solve your problems. I'd recommend you give Windows at least 300GB, and I'd probably recommend 400GB. That will still leave plenty of space on the D: drive and solve your Windows partition size issues.

FWIW, they are not conflicting indications, you're looking at different information. System Info is showing you the total installed disk capacity, and My Computer is showing you individual logical disk capacities.

Here's what my displays look like. If you add up all the logical disk capacities shown, you'll find they equal the 9.18TB shown in System Info.

One quick question. Those are logical drives? How about a shot of Disk Manager?

Search on Disk Manager and run that, post a screen shot. It should be this display.
