• Free apps → Update fine on a Local account and are automatically updated by the store, even when using a local account.The Store also automatically handles updates for apps that came preinstalled with Windows
  Paid apps or apps with subscriptions → Updates may fail or be blocked unless you’re signed in, because the Store needs to confirm you own the license
