It's not hard and is done just through Windows settings. They just have to do an internet search. I described it in post #16. It doesn't say in settings that the result will be the drivers being downloaded as optional and not installed but that's what happens. I've done it on all of my systems.

Just because it's easy for some doesn't mean it's easy for everybody.

Done and done. It also has an eMMC storage drive which the AOMEI Backupper doesn't recognize but Macrium does. The drivers are all stored in my One Drive. It's an RCA 2 in 1 tablet with a detachable keyboard. It has a pretty weak Intel Atom CPU and only 2 gigs of RAM. It runs 32 bit Windows 10 surprisingly well but does lock up when I try to do too many things at once.

I still have my old Lenovo tablet with an Atom processor. It came with Windows 8 installed.

I just powered up the Lenovo tablet. I can only get to the desktop. I did a clean install of Windows 10 and the driver for the touchscreen isn't loaded. If I had and male micro-USB to female USB adapter, I could use a mouse. I had one but I forget where I put it.

The RCA has a full size USB port. It says it's 3.0 but it only runs at 2.0 speed. Still it's a plus.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 11e. A clean install of W10 on that doesn't load a touchscreen driver either. The only way I could activate the touchscreen was to go to the Lenovo Support page and use its tool to detect missing drivers.

My Lenovo came with a case that has a keyboard. The USB port is centered on the bottom. When it's placed in the case, I lose the only USB port. I went ahead and ordered an adapter from Amazon. It should be here Tuesday. The Tablet is a IdeaPad Miix 10.

Had to use this tip today as WU kept downloading an intel Killer Network driver that would immediately BSOD my computer with a buzzing noise and every time it rebooted it would immediately BSOD again while buzzing. Disabling driver updates was the only solution I could find to keep it off my machine.

You don't 'update' to new tyres. You 'upgrade'. There is a difference.

II don't update or upgrade my tires. I replace them when they wear out.

Sure. I upgrade (same as replace) mine if a better model is available within my budget. Whatever anyone does, the point was just to draw attention to the difference between the terms.
