Microsoft Edge position and size

How to get Edge to maintain position and size when reopening like all other programs do?

Mine stays a persistent size until I resize it....or use snap. Use the double-ended arrow at your borders and corners to size it the way you want. Don't maximize it with the maximize button. Hit f5.
close and reopen Edge. Did it stay same size?
If you ever use the snap feature with Edge and close Edge while it is snapped, , your custom size will have to be done again because it will reopen at the last size and position on the screen it was the last time it was active. (which would be the size & position of the pane.) When using snap, If you double click on the title bar to maximize the window and then close Edge, it will reopen to whatever size you set.This applies not only to Edge but any window you snap.)
