Microsoft Edge Question

I deleted some bookmarks I no longer needed, but can this folder be deleted, it's annoying? "Deleted Favourites" on the bottom left?

I just empty it periodically, I'm not OCD enough to make things too clean, for that I would go with a version of Linux I could do more customization on. It's part of the program.

That folder in Edge is just like the Recycle bin in Windows. It's by design to give the user a means to recover something that was deleted in error which I, for one, haphazardly do sometime. If I was guessing, and I am, I would think it's hardcoded within Edge. I can't understand how something so insignificant could be annoying.

no idea what build that got introduced in, but i know for a fact that build Version 125.0.2535.79 (Official build) (64-bit) did not have it. you can revert yours to the build i listed and disabled auto updates for edge if you don't want it... for a fast solution. otherwise it might take a while to figure out.



EDIT:
Version 126.0.2592.102 (Official build) (64-bit) is installed now after relaunching it post update, and i still don't have that folder. only thing i can think of is that i use winaero tweaker to disable almost all edge garbage features for the rare instance that i unblock it and actually use it for testing stuff... give winaero tweaker a try.

I also just thought about it may be tied to your Microsoft acct. my edge is never signed in with my Microsoft acct, so that slipped my mind initially.
