This is one of the reasons I stopped using Brave. Edge asks it only when smartscreen is disabled though. I like security, but sometimes there is too much for my own sake. That is like people telling you that you should not smoke nor drink, because it can be harmful.

Just installed the extension, 1.0.4, on Edge Version 104.0.1293.47 (Official build) and it's working ok.

Enough is enough, I got tired of Edge constantly pausing youtube when switching the tab (sometimes 3 times in a row), so I started using Brave for youtube and LibreWolf for Facebook. It is also security and privacy wise, I no longer have to keep FB/Google cookies on my main browser. I am already using Brave on android for youtube, because of background playback, so now I can sync it just fine.

Still no ActiveX, address I need to reach is on local network, security camera DVR. I can reach it but SW in DVR needs ActiveX to run.

I don't know how useful this will be, but you can create a site shortcut, with favicon, on the desktop.
Open a site then select settings -more tools -pin to taskbar.
Close the tab.
Press the shift key and right click the icon. Click on 'create a shortcut' and immediately press the entre key. Explorer crashes, and restarts, if you don't.

When used to open PDF files I can't copy any text or pictures like with FF for instance.

I can copy text from PDF if not securely locked. As for images I have to use the screen capture from the context menu.

Disabled Microsoft Editor, apparently it is something to be concerned about. So much for putting all my fate into MS. :think:

As for Google, I have "enhanced" anything disabled, I know what it is for, like censoring your own emails, tested it myself.
