Microsoft Edge

Someone has recently raised a question about the annoying cookie popup on NewTab.
This has been bugging me for a long time, but I never really paid much attention to it.

Blocking ntp.msn.com via HOSTS or DNS will do the trick. The NewTab will be "blank".
Like when you have no internet connection, you will not be able to setup anything.

Edge has got to be the most intrusive browser in history!
I find it to be the National Enquirer of browsers!

No, it is not better . . . and even if it were, I think I'm smart enough to decide which browser I want/need. I don't need Microsoft (or anyone else) telling me what I need.

I use Firefox, and when I'm doing a clean install (for whatever testing reason), I go into the new install of FF and remove all the search engines except for DuckDuckGo.

I do similar, but MS has baked Bing into a lot more things than the default search engine...
