I am still useing Firefox I have tried them all but I still go back to Firefox ,by the way just had an update (96.0.2)

Well they are all off ( except office option )
The button is hidden but as soon as download starts, its visible!

I just set up my laptop as a dual boot between Windows 10 and 11.

I had to open Edge (which I do not use) to download Firefox, my browser of choice.

I could not believe my eyes when I got a notification (paraphrased), "You don't need another browser; you have Edge!"

I'm really tired of Microsoft pushing me to choose programs and/or apps I don't want.

And if you are in Edge and go to Google.com to do a search you get prompted to ask if you'd like to download chrome......

If they actively prevented you from installing an alternative, that would be a problem. This isn't.

Google does the same thing every time you go to one of their pages using Edge. What browser you use is your choice. To me, of all the browsers I have tried over the years, Firefox is the one I like the least. Pure preference.

Actually, before Edge, (the original one), I exclusively used Internet Explorer. Tried others but stuck with IE.

I only did it once, FF stayed as default.

I had a Chromebook and was pretty much forced to use Google,( which I also like.). It is a bit difficult to change the browser on a chromebook. Google uses just as much resources as Edge and collects just as much information. I like Edge just fine. I have used other browsers in Windows but find it just flows better with Edge. I do like to experiment a bit with the flags now that it is more like Google.
