Does anyone know what this if for? It appears to reconfigure every time I restart my PC

Razer Wolverine Ultimate which I've had for a few years now, I'm sure this never used to reconfigure at every boot.

Rock is correct, used for Xbox/ different types of controllers

Okay so upon looking myself, As someone who uses different xbox controllers, steering wheels etc etc, I've got some too in reliability monitor, Nothing to worry about i dont think, Some days it shows up..some days it doesn't. I've had 3 in the last 10 days or so, I don't remember having any issues with my controllers at all, Maybe a cable disconnect and re-connect or something, Im a wired kinda guy, Wireless still aint there for me yet

It's not a problem here either, it just seems to re-install every reboot. Never after waking from sleep or logging out

I dont actually get a notification or anything that tells me its configuring or reinstalling other than the reliability monitor ,I plug in it works immediately, il take a look back as far as I can and see if its there, I've used my controller nearly everyday the last week and I only have 2. Are you wired or wireless?

Cool, me too other than permanently, maybe it's when windows boots, it obviously powers the usb ports and then registers that it has it plugged into it. My only thought but thankfully it doesn't seem to mean anything bad. I didnt even know it had been happening til I see this thread, guess that shows its nothing to worry about

For the first time in literally months, I rebooted my PC and didn't get the daily GameInput re-configuration. No idea what's change or which update has fixed it. I normally restart every 3-4 days.

Edit: today it has returned 🤔
