Anyone else seeing this problem, or is it just me? It's been happening for a couple days.

I'm going to try disabling my VPN and see if that's the reason. brb
OK, seems it's SurfShark. I have had problems with that before, but they cleared up. Guess they're back.

Now to figure out how to get around the problem.

Thanks, FreeBooter. I tried Repair, and it didn't work. Then I tried Reset and that didn't work either.

I emailed SurfShark Support. Quick turnaround and I've been asked to change the connection protocol. I also have some other things to do and check. I'll report back when I'm done.

According to the other thread on this issue, it seems the issue has been happening for the last few updates. I just restarted SurfShark today (it had been turned off), so am not sure how long the issue has been around . . .

Report:

I changed the connection protocol and everything is good for now.

From SurfShark:
In the meanwhile, let's quickly change the connection protocol. To do so, go to the Surfshark app - Settings - VPN Settings - Protocol. Select the OpenVPN (UDP) option and try to connect.

Support also asked some questions which I'm going to answer for good measure. :-)
