Missing background on right click

When I right click on a folder, the section at the bottom where it shows icons for Cut, Copy, Rename or Delete on occasions has its background cut in half. Doesn't happen when those icons are shown at the top. Sometimes it work correctly and other times it does this (see screen shot)

Is there a known fix for this?

Don't have much problem but do have to pay attention to where the data is on the screen, whether too high, too low or too far to either side. Also have to make sure it all fits on the screen, usually by using Ctrl and + or -, also works with Ctrl and the scroll wheel to resize. Whether those commands show on the top or the bottom depends a lot on where the cursor was when clicked or where the file was when clicked on.
