Solved Missing MSR Partition on my C Boot NVMe

What is easiest and least troublesome way to fix this

A. Clean Install soon to fully fix this?
B. Parition Manager and hope i don't mess anything up
C. or just Leave Alone

Just noticed that when i was looking at partition in Disk Management for another external drive, and got concerned if i should try to fix it, or if its best left alone, til sometimes i do another clean install of my Windows 11 Pro On this Desktop

Nevermind discovered with DiskPart its actually hidden and not missing after all lol

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
This script: diskparinfo.bat was created for Windows 10 > if it runs on the latest Win 11 it will display all partitions

Frankly, the MSR partition has never been used. It was something MS introduced many years ago for potential future expansion.

Under mbr formatting some games hid security data in hidden sectors so people could not copy games illegally.

GPT formatting does not allow hidden sectors so MS created the MSR partition (partitions can be hidden) so game developers could use that instead.

In reality, nobody ever did as the rapid internet expansion meant games could be simply verified online and hence copying would not work unless you had an account to verify from.

The upshot is that it really does not matter if you have the MSR partition or not and it is a complete mystery why MS still bothers with it.

I believe nobody in MS no longer remembers what it was intended for (aa the originators have long gone) and new developers are frightened to actually remove it in case something screws up.

So in the end, just ignore lack of msr as just being a historical anachronism.
