Solved Missing Windows 11 Toolbar after Windows update.

Obviously my 'Audio inputs and outputs' does not include that one.
After a lot of thinking I found a very early 2017 program for the C920, and ran it to install it, after uninstalling the 'G Hub' software.

The microphone was then tested on WhatsApp and appears to work, after playing with various settings.
Will need to do some more checks to be fully sure I am the end of the road for this 'rebuild'.

Thank you, kind folk and especially @Flashorn :- Will conclude this post in the next few days hopefully.

Upgraded from Win 10 to Win 11 on 22/10/21.
After 4 weeks working through my problem, it's time to close this post as solved.
With hindsight it is easy to say that that I should have gone for a 'Clean Install' straight away, as ALL attempts to avoid it failed.
I should have ameliorated the situation by regularly making OS backups with Macrium Reflect (or other such software).
I have my data backed up at intervals, to HDD in PC, external HDD and a NAS machine, yet did not protect the OS, assuming it would always be possible to recover in some way. Wrong.
So, the SOLUTION WAS A CLEAN INSTALL OF WINDOWS 11.
The PC is probably 97% back to where it was, and there will probably be a few more quirks come out as time goes on.
In the last few days, my PC has shutdown all by itself 3 times, and I then found out that my UPS software had default settings of immediate shutdown when mains voltage drops for a split second. Good to find out now, rather than in 6 months time when I might be in the middle of some very important work. Just saying.
I can't close this post without sincerely thanking the people (they know who they are) whom have helped me go through this process.
The twists and turns in doing this has unearthed a variety of useful information about Windows 11.
That's it. :-)

Glad to see this resolved for you. I know how much of a PIA it is to get everything right but,
it's not all bad as you now have removed some of the programs that you really didn't need
and were there just taking room on the SSD. I and @antspants have left you responses on
the last question(s) you had about your peripherals.
And, you're welcome from all of us.;-)
