Mouse lagging - fresh Windows install/user account

I freshly updated to Windows 11 and new user account!

But my mouse is extremely laggy for some reason! When I create new standard account it doesn't happen! I can't afford wasting time on dumb buggs, it is annoying crap out of me! It is lagging so much that even using mouse in Windows is annoying!!!

And doubt changing account will help, it will bug out anyways soon (I bet)... And it would take too much time transferring data there... I have chronic pain, I need to focus on my health!

I tried sfc /scannow now and dism... But it didn't help!

Is there some known bug that makes mouse randomly lag? There is nothing different settings wise between accounts, I don't get it why it started lagging so much on this account... Both standard user account!

Oh there is probably no way to fix this, when i see amounts of problems... I will just ignore it...

LOL I created new user account, then login as admin, switched current account as admin, then I logged in, then I switched it back to standard user (issue still persisted), then I logged to 2nd standard user account i created. Then logged back to first standard user account and it doesn't happen anymore! It was like +30ms input lag - something crazy...

There is still significant lag, but it is much better!

Lol polling rate is stuck on 125hz...

Wasn't lagging like this on Windows 10 tho, any fix?

Are you new to the forum? You have not provided any info about your system in your profile, you'd
be more likely to get proper assistance.

As far as your mouse, you don't even mentioned if it's wired, USB or Bluetooth.
How is it powered, is the battery running low?

As far as a widespread issue, the link you posted has just 4 people posting and replying to each other.
With Win11 on over millions of systems, you would think you'd have more reports of this.
There are some issues of keyboard and mouse going to sleep with some bluedtooth devices but this is
usually resolved thru correct power management.

Provide us with more information, stop changing profiles as I promise you, it is just a coincidence that it works better
with one or the other - unless you have corrupted your profile.

Didn't mentioned as it started happening since Windows 11 upgrade.

Logitech MX Vertical Ergonomic Wireless Mouse I use dongle so I assume it is 2.4ghz. I tried other USBs, currently use USB2. Even when fully charged - no difference.

I use power plan setting explorer: Windows power plan settings explorer utility disabling power saving of USB didn't do anything unfortunately, also for USB, keyboard, mice and all HIDs...

There is gigantic difference between user accounts... I didn't change profile, yet, but on new profile mouse lag is much lower!

When you saying profile, are you talking of a different user login type?
If so, it might be user hive corruption. Can happen with an upgrade.
You have a decent system there, it should not happen.

Have you tried removing the device and re-installed thru device manager?
Is there a new driver for Windows 11?
Do you have something else in the other ports, if so try only with the mouse plugged in?
Do you have another mouse to test by any chance?
Just shooting in the dark here as it would annoy the heck out of me.

It doesn't happen on other pc. It is not mouse per se, it started with Windows 11. It definitely software related!

- i removed mouse but i might delete everything with keyboard in device manager
- i installed logitech drivers or software Logi+
- just keyboard

Late to the discussion, but was having the same issue, mouse lag, but only in the additional user profile. When I change the user profile to an administrator, the lag goes away, back to standard user, the lag is there again. I'm on an HP Spectre x360, i7.
