I am trying to retrieve a picture file which I permanently deleted (in explorer AND the recycle bin). Since I am using a wildcard for the file name, files with similar names ARE located but not the file in question. The file was deleted less than 1 hour ago. I tried all modes:
The name of the file is Geo 1
It was a picture file (not sure which ext ie png, jpeg etc.)
All of the following command successfully launched the search.
C:\Windows\System32>winfr c: D:\recovery /regular /n *Geo*.*
C:\Windows\System32>winfr c: D:\recovery /SIGNATURE /n *geo*.*
C:\Windows\System32>winfr c: D:\recovery /SEGMENT /n *geo*.*
C:\Windows\System32>winfr c: D:\recovery /extensive /n *Geo*.*
I am running window 11 home edition.
HOme Edition 10.0.26200 Build 26200

Thanks,
Ricardo
