I have been trying to get my server up and running using TrueNAS etc and it's just maddening. I have the key to 2012 essentials on my case still so I can activate it again. Should I just load that on the PCI-E ssd I have installed and run that? I was looking at using linux for all our systems but I need windows to run software for work, so I might as well run windows server on our server here.
WIll 2012 essentials work? or should I upgrade to 2025 somehow?
