Please help, this is driving me insane. I have a brand-new custom-built PC with the latest build of Windows 11 and for the life of me can't get it to turn off my monitor or go into sleep mode in the time frame I have set in Windows settings. Along with this, if I lock my computer it stays on the lock screen indefinitely instead of during off my screen after a min like I am used to. I've tried different power plans, even did a few powercfg commands and nothing comes back that I can see preventing it from going to sleep or turning off my display.

Thanks for the reply, yeah, I set everything there for 1 min screen off 5 min sleep and nothing happens. Sleep seems to work fine if I manually enter sleep from the start menu.

I would suggest you try "restore default settings" to your power plan in power options. Restart and then see if the PC will sleep and the monitor will turn off using default settings. If it does, then as your tweak your power settings, you can figure out what is causing the issue.
