I find the "security argument" against modded Windows OS tremendously over-rated. What. It's not like MS is going compensate the victim for any losses due to system vulnerabilities if the said victim chooses to keep everything MS gives them. (Shudder the thought.) MS hangs a big EULA sign over the front entrance that can be easily summed up as "enter at your own risk". This is exactly the deal you get with X-Lite or pretty much any other OS. Windows is no exception here. X-Lite does provide Windows security updates. Interestingly, I recently learned that it is also inclined to disregard certain "security" updates that are in actuality malicious. Perhaps one is required to rethink one's definition of "security" here. I suppose one cannot blame a forthright and trustworthy corporation for securing profit.
