Windows 11
So i updated to windows insider preview windows 11 build 22478.rs_prerelease.211008-1414 and no foreground/opened apps are showing in taskmanager under "Apps" section. I normally use RAM section to reorder apps running with the most ram usage so I can see what's hogging up my 8gb or memory(the other 8gb stopped working).

I finally know now what everyone was talking about when they say windows 11 is trash. I still don't think it is, but it's getting to that state very fast.

When I go ingame my mouse is literally lagging since this update and my framerates have dropped from ~120 to about ~70 and because my taskmanager isn't working properly I can't see what's open and what's hogging ram --because that just might be why my mouse is lagging, MAYBE.

If anyone came accross this issue before, can you please help me. These are my two main problems I want to fix, ingame mouse lag and taskmanager.

This scan checks whether there are broken Windows components in your computer that cause an empty task manager.

  • Click Start
  • Go to the search field box and type CMD
  • Go to Command Prompt then right click and select Run as Administrator

Code:
Sfc /scannow

Update your graphic card driver.

Graphics driver is up-to-date. But will try the aforementioned.

EDIT: did a scannow and found nothing.
also rolled back two updates and problem still not fixed so no im getting worried as I didnt want to roll back updates, which i did thinking it would of definitely fixed the problem but didnt.

SOLVED!!

Had to roll back the build update rather than just the regular updates. Doing that fixed the problem, now im good. One question though, how do I completely freeze updates? As i know forthcoming updates will bring it back to the same sluggishness I experienced today.

Thanks for all the support guys.

Edit: figured out how to stop the updates.
